Running Tombstone

Yesterday I posted my story about prepping for our 8K run in april. We’ve been running quite a bit lately, today’s effort was up and down the hills of Tombstone, Arizona.  So far we have run in Mequite Nevada, and in Arizona we’ve had our shoes on in Prescott Valley, Surpise, Apache Junction, St David’s and now Tombstone.

By the way, we are here to celebrate a certain young  lady’s birthday. We celebrated and celebrated yesterday but today is really the day.

She got to converse with Doc Halliday (that’s him on the left), Wyatt Earp (next) and the Earp brothers.

No visit to an old town would be complete without a shot of an old bar.

And there a bunch of them in Tombstone, a very fun town.

Today we, along with Bob & Marjorie,  move on to Nogales, hook up with Susan & Joseph and tomorrow  all three rigs cross the border into Mexico.

We Are Excited.
