Toronto Tuckers Tandem Of Tourists

Posted on July 3, 2012

Yesterday we did all 553.333  meters (1854.4 feet) of the CN Tower and later skated ( we didn’t even fall once) our way through the Hockey Hall of Fame.

That did it. We had suddenly had enough, it was time to go home. We have walked our now little buns off doing many miles per day around this interesting city for the past 5 days, eating in a least two different restaurants each day and making sure we always hit a different bar if we ever felt the urge for a cold beverage. We’ve had steak, sushi, chinese, asian, french, mexican and italian and beverages from at least that many countries. Until lunch today, when we stopped at a Tim Horton’s for a sandwich,  we frequented no franchise restaurant or any food joint similar to those we would choose at home.
Don’t get me wrong, we’ve had  we are having a blast, but it’s time these two country bumpkins/trailer trash got back to their RV.
Alas, our coach is not quite ready for us yet so rather than joining the thousands of homeless on Toronto streets we are checked back in to Jason and Elizabeth’s condo for one more night.

Tomorrow we will face reality, but for today we will force ourselves to endure one last day of laziness and fun.  What do you want for dinner tonight dear?

Sounds like you may need a new pair of shoes after all that walking and climbing. Dale and I are both relieved to know you are not homeless as we aspire to be as good at this trailer trash thing as you and Mar are.
