Our loyal readers have followed our Wenzel story all the way back from when we first ordered it, and that seems like months ago. The story continues.
We are really enjoying our new screen room here at Gulf shores State Park. We have it set up on pavement right next to our coach and already it has become the go outside place. Like in “I think I’ll go outside and read”, or “I think I’ll go outside and have snooze.”
It’s become the spot for happy hour, in fact John brought his propane fire pit over so we can all sit around the fire and discuss what ever we choose to discuss.
We are very careful to check the weather just to make sure that nothing will hurt our Wenzel while we slumber, in fact, last night we made a point of watching the local news just so no sneaky whispering wind snuck in on us.
Strangely, last night at about 1 am I thought I heard the whispering wind shout rather loudly. I got up to have a look; well, you can guess the rest. Marilyn gave me a hand and we patched it up as best we could. Today we’ll see if we can fix it up.
As I write this, my sweetheart, who thinks and acts like she’s MacGyver on steroids, is on the Wenzel website; looks like we may be able to buy parts.
Marilyn has a brand new button
Our conversation about Marilyn’s new Perfect Pocket has caused a bit of a stir to the point we decided that she definetley has something here it would be best if we did something about it.
So yesterday we added a PayPal button to her website. We’re not sure if it works yet or not. The button recognizes us as a seller and won’t let us pretend to be a buyer so we haven’t been able go through the process. You can play with Marilyn’s button if you want, she’s OK with it. Just let us know what happens.
Or you can hit the button and be one of the first. Not one of the first to order a perfect pocket, I mean one of the first to order and use the PayPal button.
Now there’s a story you could tell your great-grandchildren:
“See that button. I remember way back in 2014 when I was a young whipper snapper, I was one of the first people in the world to press that button. I got in on the ground floor before those perfect thingy went viral. It only cost me thirty bucks.”
In case you missed her website address it’s MarilynVanstone.com
Back to the weather
This is “Severe Weather Week” in Alabama to remind people about how to prepare for extreme weather. Coincidentally, there are storm warnings out in Northern Alabama where later today they can expect winds of up to 80 mph. I’d say that’s scary sh*t!
“Air, I should explain, becomes wind when it is agitated.” – Titus Lucretius Carus
It’s so much fun when you come over.
